Dr Julie is a clinical psychologist with over a decade of professional experience. She has devoted her career to learning everything she can about adult mental health and the intricacies of the human mind.

She is also an online educator and TikTok star. During the COVID-19 pandemic, her audience grew to three million followers, as users related to the bite-size self-help videos she shared and put her advice into practice. The videos have half a billion views.

Dr Julie uses this knowledge to help people - from school leavers, new parents and students, to business leaders, entrepreneurs, military personnel, professional athletes, and celebrities - through the worst times in their lives.

In her book, Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?, she draws on years of experience to share all the skills to get through ups and downs. Filled with secrets from a therapist's toolkit, Dr Julie shares expert advice and powerful coping techniques to help you stay resilient no matter what life throws your way.

It is her mission to help as many people as she can to thrive. She wants to make top-quality mental health education accessible online. She believes even those who cannot access therapy can get off to the best start in their recovery journey.

Dr Julie has devoted her career to supporting people through tough times and giving them the best tools available to build confidence. During her time in the NHS, she has worked across a range of services, from primary care and community work to acute, intensive care wards, and crisis teams.
