The Learning Awards 2017

Learning Awards 2016London (UK), November 2016 - The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) is proud to announce the finalists for the 2017 Learning Awards, the learning sector’s annual celebration of outstanding achievement, best practice, and excellence in corporate learning and performance.

Finalists for the 2017 Learning Awards, representing the highest-achieving individuals and organisations in the field of learning and development, have recently been announced by the Learning and Performance Institute. The fourteen awards categories received hundreds of entries from around the globe and included submissions from many of the world's leading brands, alongside first-time submissions from emerging technology providers. Every shortlisted finalist has demonstrated exceptional performance and contribution to the learning profession.

Paying tribute to the support of the learning community for cementing the position of The Learning Awards as the sector's leading awards ceremony, LPI Managing Director, Edmund Monk, said, "The heritage and reputation of The Learning Awards is unrivalled. For those who are shortlisted and those who eventually win, the experience often leads to career-changing opportunities, as companies and individuals are sought out for their experience and innovation.

"The depth and quality of submissions continues to rise, and I'm delighted to see that business-performance improvement features heavily in the submissions. It seems that our message is getting through, and learning professionals are moving away from being training-course order takers and evolving into trusted advisors to the business.

"I'd like to offer my congratulations to all the finalists and look forward to seeing them at the prestigious Dorchester hotel in London's Park Lane on 02 February 2017. To those who did not make the finals, they should know that, with such fierce competition, they have not failed but should be proud of their achievements. If they continue working with the business, continue raising standards, and continue to innovate, we can hopefully welcome them to a future Learning Awards."
