A New Way in Digital Learning: QA Online ITIL Academy

London (UK), May 2016 - QA, a UK leader in IT and business-skills training, has launched its Online ITIL® Academy as part of a planned series including Project Management, Cyber Security, Business Systems Development, and App and Web Development.

The "Online Academies" feature modular training videos that can be streamed directly to a computer or mobile device. Offered with flexible licencing options for individuals, businesses, and enterprises, they offer a real alternative to complement QA’s existing classroom and virtual course portfolio.

The initial tranche of videos cover the ITIL Capability and Lifecycle Intermediate levels. Delivered by QA’s industry-leading experts and created exclusively for digital learning, the Online Academies offer instant access to fully accredited certifications and provide an ideal way for individuals and teams to get qualified without leaving the office.

Mark Godfrey, Marketing Director at QA says, "We don’t use actors in our digital learning. Our experienced subject-matter experts deliver every element themselves, ensuring every detail is just right. Developments will include social and ‘gamification’ elements, expert-led community discussions to share questions, answers, and best practice, plus useful content and resources provided through an Online Academy community."

Adam Stewart, Head of Service Management at QA said, "We’re really pleased to launch our  Online ITIL Academy courses, which provide the convenience of self-paced, video-based learning that is essential for our customers in today’s fast-paced businesses.  All of the courses are fully accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, on behalf of AXELOS Global Best Practice, so it’s now possible for students to get certified while doing their day job."
