Digital Medical Education Platform

Opening Best-in-Class Nursing Education to the World

Leipzig (GER), October 2019 – The eLearning provider Lecturio has announced the expansion of its medical education platform. The platform already covered the entire pre-medical, pre-clinical, and clinical curriculum for doctors with teaching-award winning faculty from institutions including Harvard, Yale, John Hopkins, UCL, and more and is now expanding into the nursing field.

This new program launch represents an important milestone in Lecturio’s support for both students and institutions in doctor and nursing education.

Users will be given access to over 150 hours of high-quality video lectures, which are delivered by a system incorporating state-of-the-art learning science-based adaptive features. Hundreds of lectures in the pharmacology and medical-surgical topic areas have just been released.

Institutions will be able to deliver modern blended learning and flipped classroom approaches much more easily and teach in a data-driven, personalized manner and can easily integrate the courses into their existing curricula.

The content of the courses is updated and expanded regularly to represent the latest advancements in medical knowledge; it conforms to the standards of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and will prepare students for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).

Lecturio’s nursing program will also be valuable in its efforts in developing countries.
