Meridian LMS Launched as Platform for NASWA Learning

Reston, VA (USA), June 2020 - Meridian Knowledge Solutions recently announced that the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) has launched Meridian LMS as its new learning platform.

NASWA is a national organization of state administrators of the publicly funded state workforce system based in Washington, DC. Their mission is to enhance the ability of state workforce agencies to accomplish their goals and be a leading national advocate for workforce development policy.

"NASWA Learning provides courses and certifications custom designed for workforce development professionals," said Scott B. Sanders, NASWA Executive Director. "This new learning management system will serve as a key part of our ability to successfully train members on workforce development issues, policies and programs."

NASWA's training curricula include courses, modules, and lessons delivered via eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual classes, videos, webinars, and other learning modalities. Their new learning solution will manage the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, and delivery of education to its continually growing, diverse member community.

"NASWA wanted to replace their legacy learning management system with a solution flexible enough to meet their unique needs," said Patrick Devlin, Chief Business Development Officer for Meridian. "Our ability to address their specific needs, coupled with expertise in helping clients providing training to members and other external learners, make us an excellent partner".

The Meridian team not only migrated NASWA's critical training data, but also moved the organization's extensive history of enrollments and completions for all SCORM course content from the previous six years to the new LMS.
